“Ok so I’m not even a review writer (only a reader) but this place was so amazing. We came in and the ambience was simple but beautiful. We were greeted with smiles. Jen and Britt were so knowledgeable and friendly. The drinks were so good and they had rare beers as well. The food…. OMG THE FOOD it exceeded our expectations and chef Nate came out to greet us he was amazing even satisfying my brothers high heat tolerance pallet and the rest of the foodies in our parties were all dancing as we ate it was so delicious. This place is a gem. We will be back.

I went here with my girlfriend because she has a gluten intolerance. Something happened with their cooler and we had to wait just a little longer but they complimented us with 20% off of our bill and they gave us free hummus we got to meet the owner everybody in the staff constantly checked on us and make sure we were doing okay. This has got to be one of the best places to eat in Detroit. It’s honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. You can’t go wrong with the French dip.

Food is all made from scratch and was amazing! I have a gluten intolerance so I have a hard time finding places I can have much at but they’re super careful and knowledgeable about it here and can make just about anything on their menu gluten-free including the French Dip sandwich in a G.F. baguette with the best GF au jus. Seriously the best French dip I think I’ve ever had!

What an awesome bar! I was in town by myself for a work trip and happened to stop into The Elephant Room. Friendliest bar staff I’ve ever seen. Everyone there made me feel like I had been coming there for years with how nice and accommodating they were. I will definitely be stopping by again when I come back to Detroit!
